Shira is another female that we can't imagine our lives without here at 3 Ring Kennels. When we added her to our breeding program we made a conscious decision to add high end field trail blood into our program. Throughout her life we can say that Shira certainly has lived up to her lineage of impressive retreivers! This girl has a huge motor and sparkling personality that we adore.
Shira is owned and handled by her 13 year old owner - Gryffin (the son of owners Josh and Elizabeth Cochran). She has been trained by him and handled at her hunt tests as part of this remarkable team. Shira has a close bond with her owner. Her desire to please is perfectly balanced by her high end retrieving drive. These combination of traits are essential in our breeding program. Shira went 4/4 in HRC hunt tests, but sleeps nightly with her young owner.
Shira has proven herself as a breeder and producer with our 3xGMPR SHR Vega SH. Together they have produced two master hunters on our site - Piper and Eva! This breeding works and is a part of our future!
